Outline
GV5xx series lines up highly advanced hybrid graphics IP cores with 3D/2D and vector graphics rendering features. Having a common 3D and vector graphics pipeline for higher function-to-size ratio, GV5xx series comes with both small size and advanced graphics to be integrated into the embedded system SoCs. These hybrid IPs support OpenVG 1.1 for vector graphics and OpenGL ES 1.1 for 3D graphics.
Lineup
TAKUMI's Third Generation Hybrid Graphics IP Core
GV550 is a new IP core with significant enhancements in the triangle and pixel performance as well as bus efficiency from GV500, resulting in much higher effective application performance.
GV500 has been Japan’s first hybrid graphics IP core conforming to both OpenGL ES and OpenVG.
